Shower Curtain Measuring and Maintenance Tips
Width – For Baths & Wet Rooms:
Measure the shower rail that you have and then “add on” at least 20cm to this measurement to allow the curtain to gather.Length (Drop) – For Baths:
Measure from the bottom of the curtain ring on your shower curtain rail to the floor of your bath and take off at least 10cm from this length (drop). Measuring short of the bath floor will avoid the curtain being a trip hazard and will also allow the curtain to drip dry more quickly.Length (Drop) – For Wet Rooms:
Measure from the bottom of the curtain ring on your shower curtain rail to the floor of your wet room and take off at least 2cm off to get the most suitable length (drop). Measuring short of the wet room floor will avoid the curtain being a trip hazard and will also allow the curtain to drip dry more quickly.Note:
Shower curtains can go mouldy quickly if they sit in water in the bath, or the wet room floor. Any curtains over 200cm in width may have a central vertical join / seam, due to the size of material on the roll being just over 200cm in width. Wash at regular intervals (no fabric conditioner) to keep the curtain fresh and clean.
